National Account Executive

Oakleaf Waste Management, East Hartford, CT

 

The National Account Executive (NAE) position is responsible for building client base in designated vertical markets with an emphasis on the industrial marketplace. Additionally, this position will require working closely with other Oakleaf Waste account personnel to achieve an overall account strategy that is aligned with customer goals.

 

The primary focus is on generation of account revenue using a “consultative selling" approach of Oakleaf Waste services to Fortune 500 accounts as well as identifying and proposing “value added" solutions for at-risk customers.

 

The NAE is responsible for prospecting and closing sales to achieve budgeted revenue growth goals and drive internal value to the organization. The NAE aids in the development of account strategies that deliver significant environmental and business value to Oakleaf Waste, existing customers and future prospects. The position will work closely with all Oakleaf business segments including Greenleaf Compaction, IEM, Wasteless, Valet Waste and other third party strategic partners to cultivate existing accounts and initiate new account implementations.

 

The NAE is also responsible for maintaining and enhancing the existing Oakleaf client relationships and the growth of each account in an assigned region’s book of business. Participation in specific training programs, attending local trade shows, events, conferences and sponsored events will also be required.

Requirements

 

Job Requirements For National Account Executive Position

 

Develop prospect and client relationship strategies and tactics. Perform follow up on prospect and client engagements and drive them through the sales process. Document and update the engagement in designated CRM system.

 

Effectively manage prospects by developing sound business plans and strategies.


Communicate and work with Oakleaf Waste operations, customer service, management, other sales personnel and third party strategic partners to resolve unique customer issues.

 

Maintain sales pipeline to achieve goals for new sales.


Match Oakleaf Waste services with customer needs by demonstrating knowledge of the customers, pricing and competition; effectively communicate pricing and service strategies; proactively engage other Oakleaf Waste business opportunities, referring internally as appropriate and assisting as necessary.


Using in-depth industry and company knowledge, prepare complex proposals and make recommendations consistent with Oakleaf’s service offerings, capabilities, and resources.

 

Propose customer solutions that comply with appropriate local, state and federal regulations.


Maintain current knowledge of external market trends, internal sale strategies and operational capabilities.

 

Self educate on current Sustainability topics, issues, and trends including LEED, Energy-Water-Waste reduction and Enterprise Sustainability technologies and software.

 

Identify new suppliers to compliment Oakleaf Waste services including “Sustainability" strategic partners.

 

Develop and implement customized annual sales business plans and strategies.


Develop and deliver effective customized sales presentations and proposals.

1. Energy - Operations


Participate in Energy audit surveys and energy conservation project development

· Oversee and manage a Commissioning Project
· Focus review on the Operating Sequence, Maintainability, Energy Impacts, Design Related Issues, Program and Cost Implications
· Ensure Commissioning can be facilitated and develop Specifications
· Support in resolution of design review concerns and track status

· Develop MEP Pre-Functional and Functional Test Documents
· Support Performance Verification Testing on Mechanical, Electrical and ATC Control System

· Develop and or Support in an Analysis for all MEP/FP systems
· Document results of analysis and present in a pictorial, graphical and easily readable Powerpoint presentation.

 

Qualifications


· Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) or equivalent related experience
· Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professional or strong knowledge of LEED Standards
· Facilities, Maintenance and Operational background a plus
· 5-10 Years related experience in HVAC, Electrical and or ATC Systems

Energy Analyst II

 

Description:

 

Seeking an Energy Analyst to assist with a Small Business Energy Advantage Program. A good working knowledge of lighting systems, lighting controls systems, refrigeration controls systems, and HVAC in Commercial and Industrial, facilities is essential.

 

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, supporting conservation & load management projects and program implementation, perform implementation activities including project analysis and pre/post inspections of energy conservation projects, reporting, tracking, and preparing engineering analysis of program performance and supporting the selection and management of contractor services for program implementation.

 

A Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or the equivalent work experience is required. The candidate must possess a valid motor vehicle operator's license.

 

It is preferred the individual be experienced in the energy efficiency industry, proficiency in MS Office software (Word, Excel, and Power Point) and also have a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certification.
